The Golf for Good Show returns for week two as the UK Swing headed to the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel and Country Club.
Without question, the biggest story of the week was the 707th European Tour appearance for one of the biggest characters on Tour, Miguel Ángel Jiménez. The Spaniard topped off his record-breaking day with a 64 to sit in second place after round one.
Recording a milestone of his own, England’s Sam Horsfield prevailed to win his maiden European Tour title after a final round 68 helped him to finish one better than Belgium’s Thomas Detry. Horsfield, who has lived in Florida for most of his life, was tipped for great success by Ian Poulter, a regular practice partner for him in the Sunshine State.
