GolfForGood: The European Tour and Loch Lomond Whiskies have teamed up to let fans vote for the final round pin position at each of the UK Swing events
This week we are at Celtic Manor Resort once again as the Tour finishes its two week stay in Wales. Once again, we are giving you the chance to vote for a final round pin position, courtesy of our partner Loch Lomond Whiskies.
Each week, four personalities ranging from Tour winners and celebrities to local heroes will showcase the four possible pin locations to vote on, giving you all the opportunity to be there in spirit.
The hole in question this week is the iconic 211-yard par three 17th. Famous for the deciding match at the 2010 Ryder Cup, the 17th plays slightly downhill with a false front that will collect any balls that don’t make it up to the front of the green. The green is narrow and long, so an accurate iron shot will be needed to get a chance for birdie.
Our contributors this week consist of 2012 Ryder Cup winner Nicolas Colsaerts, European Tour commentator John E. Morgan, ISPS HANDA Vic Open Champion Min Woo Lee and our local hero this week is Dewi Frelford, a postman from Pontyprid who’s been picking up additional rounds to ensure everyone in his community receives their post during the pandemic.
