The WINSTONgolf Senior Open will be played on the WINSTONopen course for the first time since 2015 when the Staysure Tour returns to Germany from July 19-21.
WINSTONgolf, in Vorbeck, northern Germany, has two championship golf courses, and the tournament has been played on the unique WINSTONlinks course since 2016. Prior to that, the title was contested on the WINSTONopen course, with Pedro Linhart winning in 2015.
Tournament Director Stefanie Merchel said: "We changed the venue because WINSTONgolf has two magnificent courses, and the WINSTONopen course deserves to be in the spotlight again. We also want to offer our players and spectators a pleasant change."
David MacLaren, European Tour Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Head of Staysure Tour, said: "WINSTONgolf is very popular with our players due to the attractive supporting program and the hospitality provided by the entire team.”
