The European Tour has partnered with LetsGetChecked to supply home COVID-19 tests for players, caddies, staff, broadcasters and media prior to travelling to a tournament.
As part of the European Tour’s return to competitive action in the six-week UK Swing under strict government guidelines, the Tour partnered with LetsGetChecked, who are providing at home testing for all personnel entering the tournament bubble each week.
With limitations on the amount of people allowed on-site each day during the UK Swing, each player, caddie, official, staff member, broadcaster and member of the media is sent an at home testing kit prior to their arrival at the event. Arriving in a small sized box, each test is conducted by the individual with a gentle and non-invasive lower nasal swab and then sent via post back to the laboratory, with the results being returned via their secure online account.
More than 700 COVID-19 tests have so far been delivered around the world for the European Tour with 300 of them being for players and caddies.
