Brothers Craig and Darren Howie will tee it up together this week on home soil at the Farmfoods Scottish Challenge supported by the R&A.
Craig is joined by his younger brother Darren, who will make his European Challenge Tour debut on home soil thanks to a tournament invite.
Darren, 23, has recorded two top 10s on the Tartan Pro Tour this season, while 28-year-old Craig is in search of a big week after a consistent run of results that leave him 28th on the Road to Mallorca Rankings.
“I have made a lot of cuts this season without a really top finish,” Craig said. “A lot of 20th, 30th place finishes which isn’t going to get anything done on this tour.”
Craig has been handed a marque group, playing alongside last week’s winner Alex Fitzpatrick and another in-form player Ashley Chesters, both of whom sit inside the top 20 on the season-long rankings.
He added: “I don’t get to play in Scotland too often. We will have quite a few family members up to watch us both.
“I’ve also got my girlfriend and our puppy with us for the first time. It’s his first golf tournament actually so it feels a lot less like a normal week on Tour which is nice.”
