Past champions Tyrrell Hatton and Danny Willett will tee it up alongside fellow countryman and Rolex Series winner Tommy Fleetwood at the BMW PGA Championship from September 12-17.
The trio are the latest to be announced as part of the world-class field set to descend on Wentworth Club, including the defending champion Shane Lowry, his fellow Major winners Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Matt Fitzpatrick, as well as 2021 BMW PGA Championship winner Billy Horschel.
Weekend general admission tickets for the BMW PGA Championship have sold out for the second consecutive year, with more than 100,000 spectators expected to line the fairways throughout the week at the fourth Rolex Series event of the 2023 Race to Dubai. World Number 14 Hatton realised a boyhood dream in 2020 when he sealed a four-stroke victory over Frenchman Victor Perez and, with eight worldwide top tens this year, the Englishman is looking forward to returning to the Surrey venue, which is less than 30 miles from where he grew up.
“The BMW PGA Championship is always an event marked on my calendar at the start of the year,” said the two-time Ryder Cup player and four-time Rolex Series winner. “I came to Wentworth often as a kid to watch some of the best pros in the world take on the West Course and I always dreamed one day of playing in this event, never mind winning it.
“It’s just really special to have your family and friends supporting you throughout the week and the crowds just keep getting bigger, so I can’t wait to come back home in September. It’s going to be another great event.”
Willett claimed his second Rolex Series title at the 2019 BMW PGA Championship, finishing three shots clear of fellow Masters Tournament winner Rahm after an epic weekend battle.
“Winning the BMW PGA Championship in 2019 was a huge moment in my career, but also personally for me to have my whole family watching on, it was very special,” said the Englishman. “The fans bring an incredible vibe all week at Wentworth, so I’m looking forward to another great event in September.”
Former European Number One Fleetwood will be hoping to convert his strong run of form into a win at the BMW PGA Championship as he looks to add another prestigious trophy to his increasingly impressive CV.
The six-time DP World Tour winner has had six worldwide top tens this year, and his most recent victory came with his successful Nedbank Golf Challenge title defence at the end of 2022.
Fleetwood said: “I always enjoy playing the BMW PGA Championship, and it’s an event I would love to win. Being an Englishman, to have your family and friends with you all week is a real treat for us, but on top of that, we have the biggest crowds who are just so unbelievably loud and supportive for all of us, it makes it a unique week that is for sure.”

Away from the golf course, the unmissable entertainment in the vibrant Spectator Village includes a DJ set from Locksmith, founding member of Rudimental, on Wednesday afternoon, with GRAMMY®-nominated producer Jax Jones and indie rock band The Wombats performing on the Show Stage over the weekend.
The action at Wentworth Club begins with the G4D Tour’s G4D @ BMW PGA Championship event, as spectators get the chance to watch some of the world’s best golfers with a disability competing on the same layout as their DP World Tour counterparts on Tuesday September 12. Tuesday is also the BMW PGA Championship practice day, allowing fans to see some of their favourite golfers in a more relaxed environment.
That is followed by the star-studded Wednesday Celebrity Pro-Am which will bring together global celebrities - including Hollywood A-lister Tom Holland, football superstar Gareth Bale and England cricketers James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Ben Stokes – with some of golf’s most famous players in a fun-filled curtain raiser to the main event, the BMW PGA Championship, which tees off on Thursday September 14.

General admission tickets are available from Tuesday to Friday, with limited Premium Experience options still available for Saturday and Sunday.
